Contact the Commission on Colleges at 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097 or call (404) 679-4500 for questions about the accreditation of Livingstone College. Livingstone offers a number of opportunities for students to participate in religious, social, cultural, recreational, and athletic activities and is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Division II, and the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA). Our 272-acre campus is located in historic Salisbury, Rowan County, North Carolina; a town of approximately 30,000 within an hour's drive of two major metropolitan areas: Charlotte and the Piedmont Triad of Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point. Currently, the college has an enrollment of just under 1200 students from 23 states, the District of Columbia and 8 foreign countries.  Today, Livingstone College is a living symbol of the educational and social progress of African-Americans. The institution reflects the ideals of self-help, self-development, and self-determination, which are essential expressions of a Livingstone College education.
